Twisted Love by Ana Huang
4.0
I enjoyed the hell out of this story.
I wasn’t sure about starting this trilogy. It’s been heavily recommended to me, both by social media and by personal friends, but honestly it just didn’t sound that interesting. Plus I generally dislike the amnesia trope.
But they were on sale as a set so what was I going to do, not buy them? Pshh.
It was worth the buy even if the other two aren’t as good.
Alex is a walking red flag in my favorite shade and Ava’s sunshine to his grumpy just absolutely gives me life.
I’d recommend this to someone looking to dip their toes into dark romance or someone who likes a rosier shade to the relationship development. These two are cute asf together and I’m here for it.
Also the setup for the next two couples didn’t feel like it was shoved in without context. Which is a massive improvement over most books of this type.
Cindy Kay and Aiden Snow did an absolutely fantastic job with the dual narration. They had great in-ear chemistry and embodied their characters well.
All in all, a great read and I’m glad I took the plunge on them finally.
