I actually really liked this book. It had a bunch of different elements that classic novels only have one of. It’s a bit longer than most of the classic books that I’ve read. Jane is definitely plain but it’s hard not to like her. I even warmed up to Rochester, which I didn’t think that I would.

To be honest, I didn’t think that I would actually get around to reading Jane Eyre. I’ve had it on my bookshelf for a while and I thought that it would stay there but I’ve been on a classic books kick lately, and you simply can’t read classic books without including Jane Eyre.
