I read this to my 4th graders last spring while teaching the unit centered on the historically rich book Heart & Soul by Kadir Nelson.

This was an excellent enrichment to the history from H&S. Many students checked out the classroom copy and enjoyed the turn-&-talks about the themes in this book.
