Winnetou, Volume 2 by Karl May, Karl May, Bernhard Schmid, Lothar Schmid

3.0

Unfortunately, I didn't like this second book as much as the first one. The first half of the book was too monotonous for me, but I found the second half very interesting.
Karl May managed to describe the wilderness of America and the Native Americans very well. You had the feeling of being right in the middle of it. I could visualise the surroundings and the actions very clearly.
Again, many criticisms of the displacement of the native peoples were addressed, but also how friendships can develop and the acceptance of the other culture.
