I don't even know what I'm reading at this point. And I suppose I should have guessed as much, given a few of the reviews I'd read. But...what in the hell?
This book is an insanely quick read but I just don't have the patience for it. Despite that, it does have a certain charm to it that I suppose drew me in for as long as it did in the first place. It's so wonderfully nostalgic! I've not read this book before, but it reminds me so much of the YA books I read as a pre-teen, and they just don't make books like that anymore. Yes, I'm THAT kind of a person now.
I think I would have liked this around the time of it's initial release, but as an adult, small doses are enough for me. At least I can say I finally tried it though, since I'm pretty sure it's been on my TBR for years.
Onto my next read.
