Vicious was my first V.E. Schwab book and I loved it. This sequel is not only better, I think it's my favorite book by the author. The returning characters stay interesting and the new characters help round out a universe where super powers become an aspect of reality.

The first 200 pages kept me going, but I couldn't stop reading once I got to the middle of the book.
