An excellent sequel, Iron Flame starts off a bit slower than Fourth Wing but ultimately delivers what is basically two full books worth of story for us. Cooler frustrated the hell out of me & her eventual epiphany about her feelings/decisions had me rolling my eyes a bit. But that ending was BRUTAL & I love that Yarros isn’t shying away from the gruesome & cruel side of war.
