I didn’t think this book would really be for me, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Of course it’s Fitzgerald so it beautifully written, I absolutely loved the experience of reading with each description a work of art. I also really enjoyed the deeply flawed characters and the complicated dynamics.
It does have some deeply problematic themes that I think it’s good to be aware of when going in, but I think it’s still a worthwhile read.
