I... couldn’t even finish this book. I generally expect that the quality of writing for a mystery/thriller is not going to be as high as a traditional novel, which is fine because generally the mystery carries the book and makes up for any lack in quality. This book, though, had poor quality writing and a terribly told mystery that started off the book but quickly fell to the background.
