A Queen's Game by Katharine McGee
5.0
This was a fun historical fiction. I think McGee did a great job of balancing the historical facts with sprinkles of fiction to add depth to a history that we don’t fully know details on. I do wish I had gotten to have more depth shared about each FMC, but I have hope that will come in the sequel, and it was t lacking in a way that made me not want to keep reading.
I do also feel the ending was a bit abrupt, leaving it me wanting more is exactly what you want for book 1 in a series, but k do think it could have been. A little bit more at the end.
Overall a really enjoyable story, that had a wonderful
Mix of historical facts and fiction mixed together.
