I chose to do this play for my ISU in my high school Writer's Craft class. We had to analyze the style of the author, and I figured that there was so much information on Shakespeare's style that I may as well go for it. I picked A Midsummer Night's Dream because I had heard it referenced a few times and was curious. It turned out to be a good choice.
This is one of Shakespeare's comedies. It is a tangled web of love affair, with spells and potions gone awry, people falling madly in love with the wrong person, a man growing a donkey's head and crazy faeries that like to stir things up. I would love to see it performed.
