I thoroughly enjoyed this book - it is so refreshing to hear how science is now acknowledging that animals possess not only intelligence and emotions beyond what was previously accepted, but also consciousness. I appreciated the author’s open reflection and curiosity as she shares her own story alongside the four octopuses’ we get to know through her writing.
