That Bonesetter Woman by Frances Quinn
5.0
I absolutely loved this book. The characters are brilliant and unforgettable. I was completely invested in Durie's life and willing her to be successful in love and in her dream to become a bonesetter. 18th-century life is vividly brought to life in this story.
It was fascinating to find out about Bonesetter's, which is an occupation I hadn't heard of before. I loved the fact it was based on the life of an actual person, too. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to try and be a successful business woman in such a male dominated society. If you enjoy historical fiction I highly recommend this book!
I can't wait to read Fran's new book 'The Lost Passenger' which publishes in February.
