What's it about?
Fifth book in Wheel of Time Series. First half pretty slow, with Rand just sitting there. Too much Nynaeve and Elayne, who manage to get themselves into all sorts of trouble.

Second half of book is better, with a big battle and

two Forksaken killed, one captured (and one already captured one killed). The Forksaken don't seem that tough. Only one Aes Sedai lost for all these takedowns

What did I think
Good mindless listen. Descriptions too long, characters pretty one dimensional (and most are hard to like). Serious fixation on "men vs women". Guess it's baked into the whole structure of the world.

When things happen, it's pretty good.
