" It's been awhile since I found the perfect book

But here, it fucking is

Everyone has loved this book to death so I'm not going to talk about what makes this book good. But, I will talk about something a little more minor. What people don't realize is, Baldree is a master at making sure you don't forget who's name is who. I don't know about most people, but I forget names within the next page. So what Baldree does is when he mentions a name that aren't pertaining to Tandri and Viv, he makes sure there's context clues attached to each name.
For instance, our favorite baker Thimble, is always made sure that baking is involved near his name, flour, or being a rat so we remember his name and why he was there.

No author does that much these days and I'm perfectly happy Baldree does this for the ADHD me who forgets every single time a name is mentioned. (I'm looking at you WHEEL OF TIME )

But really, Baldree is (what I can see) the first of a new genre of slice of life fantasy in the book world. We seen this so many times in visual media, but never in books. So thank you, Baldree, for paving the way.

Now, go read this book already! "
