DNFed at 20%

I am in a reading slump right now, so it’s possible I could have finished this if I was in a better mood, but already there were plenty of issues, so I really doubt I’d pick it up later.

I enjoyed the narration of the main character which is nice considering I usually find first person POVs hard to connect with, but the plot felt like it moved relatively slowly and at times I feel like the characters made weird jumps in logic. Also, I feel like the premise of this was similar to many other thrillers despite the fact that I read almost none of the genre. (Tiny winter town with a person who is new to town uncovering what seems like it might be a sinister event.) To be honest, I just don’t think this book will ever be worth finishing for me.
