Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
4.0
3.5 rounded up.
The story was good and the characters were memorable with some great growth. I really liked the strong women in the story, which is not typical of a story set in this time period, especially in the entertainment industry. They didn't let society or the men in their lives tell them what to do, especially Karen who I really liked a lot. The audio was very, very good with a full cast of voices I recognize which is why I rounded up. The reason it wasn't a 5 star read is because I read The Final Revival of Opal & Nev first and the premise is VERY similar, but the impact and the social justice aspects etc... were more interesting and more important. If you like stories like A Star Is Born, you'll love this one.
