ok this book is the definition of no plot, just vibes. it is exactly what the cover says: a book about writers and lovers. it follows our main character, a writer, and her romantic life after her mother passes. i think the integrated discussion about grief and love was an interesting commentary on growing older. the book went by really quickly (i read it in maybe three days) and i felt a longing for the characters at the end. i’m not someone who reads books with happy endings often, so this book really filled that hole in my heart!
