I really didn’t especially enjoy this in comparison to HITRW, but the kids seemed to enjoy this equally. My 9 year old cried at the ending & my 14 year old said it was unsatisfying at the end, but ultimately they voted to skip the sequel and move onto a new book, so…there’s that.
