I absolutely loved this one! This is my very first πšπš’πš•πšŽπš’ π™΄πšπš πšŠπš›πšπšœ book and I don't know why I have waited so long to read her work. I will tell you. From the start, I was hooked!

Shane Owings (Carter Lennox). That man is sinfully delish in every way! I loved how he was with Lily and, growing up a military brat, I absolutely understood why he did what he did! When he came to terms with what he needed to do, it was freeing and I swooned so hard!

Lily Nelson. Bless her heart. I adored her. The way she loved Shane, even when she thought he was dead, was an emotional thing but it was so heart capturing! I loved her devotion to her best friend and how she was with him.

𝐢𝐽 π΅π‘™π‘œπ‘œπ‘š is amazing and among my favorite female narrators list. She has a way with the emotions she brings to life in these characters. I absolutely love that she was cast to narrate Lily! And can we talk about the epicness that is π‘‡π‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘¦ π·π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘Žπ‘›? He has a wonderful, deep voice that captures Shane/Lenox and all his emotions in a masterful way! Together, these two did a wonderful job with these characters!

There are secrets, there emotions, there are second chances and lots of twists. Filled with steam, heart and action, πšπš’πš•πšŽπš’ π™΄πšπš πšŠπš›πšπšœ'𝚜 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 is an amazing and unforgettable story! I am now a forever fan and can't wait to dive into book 2!
