This was a fun quick read for me. It definitely gave me Caraval vibes, but with spice. Was it the best book I ever read? No. I’m not really big on insta love. I felt like it was necessary within time constraints in competing in the Phantasma trials. Ophelia kind of drove me nuts at times, but it was nice to see her growth throughout the trials. Blackwell is the stand out character for me. I was very intrigued by him and was happy how everything turned out. I thought the OCD rep was nicely done. Looking forward to reading the second book about Genevieve.
