just lovely in a way i feel like i can’t fully articulate. may emma d’arcy be employed in audiobook narration forever and ever.
fascinating and layered dialogue that i feel like will need another read to puzzle through it all. rich reflection on art and a life as an artist. i love that i didn’t realize their ages until most of the way through. how their life together unravels in these vignettes. the “we” of them. complements and clashing and utterly perfect imperfect fits. blessed in love, truly blessed
