First off, I need Rebecca to pay for my therapy until book 3 comes out in the spring!
Outside of that! I DEVOURED this book and left no crumbs. It was phenomenal. Her writing style sucks me in immediately and I’m immersed into the world w Eden and the Brutes.
It’s so hard to find a book where you want all the spice, but the plot outshines it, and she did a superb job of this. I’m typically not one to read longer book bc I find they have too much filler and it’s long and drawn out, but this was perfect. I didn’t want it to end. This is a book where I forgot I was even reading. The character development of ALL of our main characters was so good. The approach in tackling mental health was perfect. I smiled and laughed, o felt the love between them, had sad and embarrassing moments as well. It’s so hard to connect w characters in some books, but I feel like these are part of my FAMILY. I love them all so much and I’m so curious how things will play out this time around. I can’t wait for the next installment.
To Rebecca, thank you so much for giving us such a beautifully written story, for taking us to this insane post apocalyptic world, and showing us that we can still fall in love w characters in a book like we know them in real life. This book was beyond amazing 🫶🏻
