I liked this. I normally don’t love the brothers best friend books because there are so many secrets and oftentimes it end with someone getting hurt. SPOILER: Lane told his brother (Hallies best friend) that he liked her so early on in the book! love that so much because there are no secrets. He truly had his brother in the front of his mind. I love both main characters and they are wholesome and cute together. Highly recommend!
I don’t normally go for college sports romances, but this was done pretty well! I loved how honest Lane was with Hallie. The only thing that bothered me was the proposal wasn’t even supposed to go to Lane, it was Eli’s and he didn’t tell Eli about the proposal, or that it was supposed to go to Eli in the first place.
