So this wasn't as good as the first one, obviously.



Major Spoiler From Here On Out:



Violet loses her virginity to Jay, there's new characters tied in, Rafe, what kind of name is that? and Sara Priest who pretend to be FBI affliates. Chelsea gets more and more annoying. And then just as soon as we learn about Mike and Megan, they are gone.



Megan's point of view was a little forced I think. I felt bad for the girl, but I never really saw her as "evil." I guessed it was the dad long before any "mystery" ever surfaced.



I don't remember Violet being this stupid in the first one. Maybe it was just this time around, but I'm refreshed that this was a decent book in comparison to the last three books that I've read.



I liked and I will continue with the story, but I am not going to rush out and buy them all. I can wait till the library gets the third installment. Curious to see where Rafe and the FBI group will fit in. Was Derting trying to make a love triangle between Jay, Violet and Rafe? I wonder where she will take us next time.
