“This speech wasn’t forever. Being embarrassed as not forever. None of this was forever. But trying was. Living was.”
this book was amazing. the characters were so good, and that's really all I have to say because my mind really can't process all my complex emotions involving this book. But I do definitely recommend it🤍
“It was all about trying, and that was what I would do. I would try.”
“My past was a part of me and it molded who I was today, but it was not the sum of who I was to become. It did not control me.”
“Words were not the enemy or the monster under my bed, but they held such power over me.”
