The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand

  • Strong character development? No
  • Loveable characters? No
  • Diverse cast of characters? No

1.25

This was so melodramatic for no reason. Definitely unnecessary for a book about architects running their businesses. Ayn Rand was a meth head and it really shows in her writing, which is just as insufferable to read as it is to talk to her fans. Her worldview is full of contradictions. And for someone who claims not to be religious her writing certainly has a Christian feel to it.
