Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
4.0
Sometimes what you need is a book where you have no clue what is going on until the very, very end. Such books include The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern and Piranesi. If anyone has any similar recommendations in the confusing genre, please hit me up.
All Piranesi has known is the House and its never ending halls filled with statues, birds, and wonders. He is alone, save for thirteen skeletons, and another human he refers to as “the Other.” When another person enters the House, Piranesi soon finds that things aren’t adding up, and he must find the pieces to this puzzle before he is lost to madness.
