This book was ok. It definitely kept my interest and I will continue to read the series but it was a little weird at times. I felt that Caine tried to have too many different elements at once (like Michael being this weird ghost). Some of the dialogue seemed forced. This is a the vampires are the bad guys book. The series is really long and this book ends on a cliff hanger.
