I had a love hate relationship with the writing of this book. At times it would be really good, and then frustrating to get through, and then so good I breezed through whole chunks. It wasn't consistent enough in the writing nor was I invested in the MC enough by the end to rate it higher, but it was good enough that I will continue the series
