The nostalgia. I’ve been listening to these on audio as I game, I read them quite a few times when I was younger so I don’t need to fully pay attention because I already know what happens. I’m quite enjoying the narrator, they’re fun to listen to.
In this book the gang splits up, Fang and the boys decide to go off on their own leaving Max and the girls as well as Total and Ari (who’s chill now). It still pained me having them split up, I need the whole gang together, everyone accounted for. Max learns who her parents are, we see clone Max as well as some others, and they stage a whole revolution of the experiments. The sass levels in this one were great.
