I have no intellectual thoughts to give, just opinions. The choices of the characters were unbearably human and unbelievably flawed, and I just could stand to rally for any of them when the novel closed its curtains. In any other piece of media I would applaud for realness of the characters as humans, but with-in this novel it was obnoxious and constantly over-whelming. Sally Rooney is an amazing writer, but this novel shoves itself so low in eating for me because of my feelings towards these characters shes crafted.
Graphic: Chronic illness, Toxic relationship, and Toxic friendship
Moderate: Alcoholism and Alcohol
