Chencia C Higgins does it again! I love the way she writes characters and shows family. As someone currently living around where the book was based, I knew exactly where each place in the book was! 

That being said the conflict was very frustrating.

I could have sworn Cyn and Jucee literally talked about being more than friends halfway through the book and then just ignored it? Plus Cyn’s biphobic comment came out of nowhere, same with Jucee’s backstory about her mom.

 

All in all, it’s a fun, hot, beautiful romance book and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a quick read with amazing characters!

ETA: not sure what was up with the audiobook, but there were definitely some editing issues - lots of sections were repeated, specifically in Jucee’s chapters
