The Best Man's Problem by Sera Taíno

4.0

Rafael Navarro thinks he knows what he wants in a relationship: reliability, predictability, nothing at all that might affect his routine. Ètienne Galois is none of those things, and yet, the attraction persists. All they have to do is get through Rafael's future brother-in-law's bachelor party together...right?

What I loved:
-the culture and the background of the characters playing such a large role
-how attracted to each other they were; truly every time they're thinking about each other or describing each other it's very clear and all they can think about
-Rafael's dad was a truly stand-out character in this for me

What I was on the fence about:
-very little! This was an enjoyable romance if you're in the mood for a light, quick read
-Sometimes it felt like I only know Rafi was uptight and by the book because he kept telling me he was; a lot of the obstacles to their relationship weren't exactly huge
-the passage of time read a little oddly, especially towards the end.

In terms of book series about groups of siblings finding love...this is the kind of story I'd enjoy seeing a Netflix show on.
