Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing by Matthew Perry
3.0
I guess I should preface this with the fact that I've never seen a full episode of friends, and I've only ever seen two of his films. This book was another one chosen by my book club...so I guess take my review with that in mind...
The adults in his life failed him early on, and his struggles with addiction are sad. But this book desperately needed better editing. And the way he speaks about most of the various "Lovers" in his life is pretty awful.
The sections of the book that were written without an arrogant voice were fine, I especially liked his short section about his courtship with Julia Roberts. The hope at the end of the book is especially sad knowing how his life ended.
