I can typically bounce back into Chloe Gong sequels easily, but maybe it really had been too long between reading Foul Lady Fortune and this one bc I just didn't care that much. maybe it also has to do with the fact that every single YA finale had this bs amnesia trope and I was sick of it from the first time I read it, and then I had to keep reading it
