I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Sagan takes us not only on a journey through the cosmos, but also connects our past and our discoveries with the universe - after all, what is Earth if not simply a piece of the cosmos we understand the most? History, science, astrology, and philosophy are tied together in a very digestible way. This book makes your brain go "boosh" multiple times per chapter. Sorry, I couldn't think of a better way to say that. Please read.
