I discovered Ruta Sepetys' books last year, with Between Shades Of Grey, and I love that book so much. But Salt To The Sea tops it.
I had never read a story about WWII like this. The characters we're amazing, and the narrative (as always) but the idea of the story, of putting all this people from different countries, different personalities, different pasts... It was truly beautiful.
