I honestly don't know what to feel after reading this book.

I feel connected to some aspects of Jayne. Her relationship with her family, in particular, her mother and her sister struck a chord with me. I am all too familiar with what it is like to have her mother; I know all to well what it is like to have June for a sister. In some ways, I am Jayne.

The story itself felt scattered; it lacked structure. The story isn't really a story with a plot; it's a story with events. Certain moments weren't really fleshed out when they should have been.

I still liked the book. Would recommend but with caution.
