My only regret when it comes to this book is that I put it off for so long lol. I went in mostly blind - I knew it was an enemies to lovers, that it was YA & that it had something to do with letters being magically sent between the two love interests. Imagine my surprise when the main theme of the book is war lol. While I’m not overly fond of action-based books, I really thoroughly enjoyed this one and found it hard to put down. It did the same thing Fourth Wing did for me, which was take me outside of what I’d typically read and make me lose myself in an actual story again. I’m looking forward to starting the next book!
