This was fun, but I didn't laugh at any of the jokes. There were a lot of quirky moments, but too much quirk made my eyes roll. I really loved the message, although they were revealed with little to no subtlety. Very in your face. Which brings me to my next point—this book is primarily intended for younger audiences so I won't fault the author for his stylistic thematic reveal and plot choices.
All in all: really liked it, but not something I would gush on and on and onnnnnn...
Oh, dear. I guess I'm turning into a curmudgeon.
