This was recommended to me a while ago and I finally got around to listening to the audiobook, as I'm looking to read more non-fiction this year.
This was an impactful read that was educational to me on an issue I wasn't previously aware of. It was very heavy and emotional to listen to, and it definitely doesn't shy away from the real impacts of this mining industry. It was well-written and researched with firsthand accounts, but I do think it needed more editing as, especially listening to the audiobook, it felt repetitive at times.
I would certainly recommend this book if you are interested in learning more on this particular topic.
