First and foremost honor is a kick butt FMC. She didn’t let life and abuse break her. She broke it. She was brave and strong and reclaimed her strength and I was here for it. I loved the love story that wasn’t brought about my her being rescued but for being seen. And shown just how strong she was. The writing was top notch. The first couple chapters are rough so check those TW but for me it had the right effect of bringing awareness to something so real and how kindness and compassion from strangers can make an impact
