Not quite sure how I feel about this book. I liked the pacing, plus the events and tone flowed well. It was unpredictable and that fed my curiosity to get to the end despite the MC. I did not enjoy being in Dannie’s head but what really got under my skin was that she acted as if she couldn’t stop the vision from happening by simply… not doing it. When you read it you’ll get what I’m saying, but no one was forcing her to do anything, she subconsciously already decided she was going to do it and tried to change everything else that led up to the action rather than the action itself. The end made up for all the crap this book put me through. However, I wished we’d established that this was also about sisterhood earlier on (or at least made it so that Bella’s illness was already established and put as much emphasis on their dynamic as much as the romance). About 50% in I started asking myself what the book was about until the big reveal. And I was so confused when the vision happened (I’m still lost on it). I just think it could’ve been executed better. The overall message was clear though and that alone was worth the read for me.
