This one was better writing wise than book four in the series but it still wasn't a wow moment for me. I did like the idea of luck and superstition being front and center though. I thought alternating between last night and the present and the story was a bit more developed. Overall though, book one is the still the best and the rest haven't captured my attention quite as much.
