This is book 3 in The First Time series, and it features August Cassidy and Paisley Renee. Sometimes a person grows up with such a bad example of what love, marriage and parenting should be, that it ruins whatever future possibilities presented to them.  This is the case with August.  These two are truly meant to be but the past interferes with their HEA.  Years later, he’s having regrets.  

This is a fantastic second chance romance.  The character development was great to see.  Their second chance was inevitable but their struggle to get there was a lot of push and pull. I love spending time with characters from previous books!  I can’t wait for whatever’s next for this fabulous author!
