WOW... I devoured this book because it was just so wild. This book might be satire and horror a bit in the way it looks at the publishing industry, racism, cyber bullying and white privilege but even though this seems far fetched in some aspects it hits on all of the realities of the tools of white supremacy.
I feel like my jaw was open like the entire book at the caucasity of June and her behaviors but like all RF Kuang characters she also tries to show all angels of a character and we sometimes feel for June and gain some understanding of why she is the way she is but for the most part I hated June. She is the embodiment of a white woman and all of our audacity.
And the end... I almost want a part 2.
