Chainsaw Man, Vol. 2 by Tatsuki Fujimoto
5.0

I love Power so much.
Something I really like about Chainsaw man is how everyone is living life for their own reason and trying to survive because of it. It doesn't have to be a big life changing reason like saving the world - it could be small like living for a cat. Or for Denji, finally not living in poverty so now he wants to experience a peaceful life and wants what other normal kids had growing up - like falling in love.
I hate main protagonists in anime that are overly suggestive to every female character and it becomes a joke because of it. Denji is a nice flip on that whole trope. He isn't overly suggestive but he is still a teenage boy and understanding his background you're like "ok, it makes sense. This simple thing is why he wants to keep trying in life - even if it's just getting a kiss from a girl".
