read this because it combines my two lifelong special interests, kpop and literature. but it just wasn't that good despite me being the target audience. candace is genuinely terrible, i understand that she's very young but she can never make a good decision, nor can she consider any trainee except herself. the romance was terrible and made no sense. i hated the way the author threw in korean words, not because that's inherently bad, but because they weren't used correctly. the writing was bad and the dialogue was corny. the only redeemable thing is that i can tell the author researched what the trainee life is like before writing this, but overall not a fan. disappointed.
