Not going to give full review quite yet but just want to share a few things... as The Night Circus is my favourite book I’m forever grateful for receiving a proof of The Starless Sea and I was maybe just a little apprehensive as to whether I’d enjoy it or whether I constantly be comparing the two books.
BUT... The Starless Sea is everything and nothing like The Night Circus, it’s whimsical and mysterious and so well written but at the same time it holds up completely on it’s own and has a completely different and beautiful vibe and aesthetic. Erin Morgenstern is a genius storyteller and this is a book written for people who love stories. I can’t wait to read this over & over again.
